DARREN'S STORY

San Francisco, Bay Area Native. Started bowling at 8 years old at Serra bowl in Daly City. In 2006 we moved centers to Sea Bowl in Pacifica where my mother is currently the Special Events Coordinator. This is also where my brother Michael became the youngest to bowl a perfect game at the time.

Prior to my birth, my father was a pro shop operator at Westlake bowl until the center eventually closed its doors. With the combination of my father's knowledge and mother's resource, my brother and I grew into the bowlers we are today. We grew up bowling on the NCJBT circuit across the bay but after that tournament club ended, we moved on to YBT, currently running strong by founders Mike Hillman and Leanne Hulsenberg.

I graduated from SJSU in May 2016 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I currently reside in Las Vegas and am now chasing my dreams out on the PBA Tour.

JESSE'S STORY

Born in Los Angeles, CA, quickly relocating to the Coachella Valley at the age of 2, I was primarily in my father's home, who instilled into me an entrepreneurial mindset at a very young age.

I started my first business at the age of 15, picking up golf balls out of the bushes at our community golf course, and selling them back to the golfers at a discounted rate.

Fast forward to age 22, exactly one week before I had my first child, I made the decision to quit my restaurant job and take on full-time freelance video. I've dabbled in all sorts of industries, but eventually found my way to running the fastest-growing YouTube Channel in the bowling industry, Darren Tang.

Over the last 3 years since I've started this journey with bowling, I've invested countless hours into this community, learning how to present the technical aspects of this sport in a way that the people are receptive to.

I'm committed to creating a product that every bowler can  have valuable takeaways from, and providing an opportunity for every person in the industry that wants to help grow the sport.
